Have you ever wanted to sleep in a covered wagon overnight? Then this is a place you have to visit! It is a working ranch, so if you’re expecting a luxury stay then you will be disappointed. If you are going here for adventure, then you will be very satisfied! We stayed in a covered wagon. It was early fall, and it was very cold, especially when going to the bathroom in the middle of the night (you have to leave the wagon and walk to the bathrooms). The scenery here is beautiful. My favorite part was the horses. At night, the ranchers bring all the horses into the field. You can feel the ground shake as a hundred horses trot along the main path. Standing next to the road your breath will be taken away with this wonderful moment. We got to go on a horseback ride – my first time ever – and wander along the paths with a ranch guide. This was one of the best times ever.
