Fiona the hippo is one of my favorite stories. Actually, Fiona’s Christmas book has been one of my favorites since I was a toddler. The zoo setup the Christmas display the day before we went, so I got to go see my favorite preemie hippo. The giraffe exhibit is also amazing, and since they’re my favorite animal I got to spend some extra time watching them. My dad bought the rides pass, so we went on the carousel many times. It is the most amazing carousel ever, with so many unique animals that I have never seen on a carousel before. The zoo has so many amazing exhibits, including an insect exhibit that is both yucky and fun and totally worth visiting. I would put this zoo on your must visit list, especially if you find the story of Fiona as amazing as I do.
